U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC seeks a skilled Continuous Improvement Project Manager to lead the implementation of lean manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.
This individual will be responsible for establishing and managing projects that deliver year-over-year savings and driving cultural change through process improvement initiatives.
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, including Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Lead, train, and coach cross-functional teams to implement improvements and embrace lean culture change.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and training sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes and increase safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and coaching skills, with the ability to develop Lean experts throughout the plant.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence leadership across functions.
