DIVISION : U.S. Energy POSITION SUMMARY The Lead Accounting role is responsible for handling and managing complex tasks, often involving strategic analysis and a broader scope of responsibilities. This role requires over 5 years of experience and involves leading and managing finance projects, directly or indirectly managing analysts, and overseeing financial planning. The position aims to develop a high level of business acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, serving as a subject matter expert.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage complex finance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
Directly or indirectly manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Conduct strategic financial analysis to support high-level decision-making.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast and analyze financial performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies.
Prepare audit documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 years of related experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strategic thinking.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
Additional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA).
