What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations and Quality Specialist - Volt Vault (U.S. Energy) position at US Venture?
DIVISION : U.S. Energy POSITION SUMMARY Join U.S. Energy in supporting the launch and ongoing operations of U.S. Energy’s electrification offerings and Volt Vault product. This new position, being added due to growth, presents a great opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives and innovation in EV infrastructure.
In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in all facets of Operations and Supply Chain management, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
This individual will engage actively in daily operations, leveraging strong communication skills, to collaborate effectively with team members and customers. This person must have a passion for problem- solving and a commitment to customer service, as you will be tasked with addressing challenges that may arise. This role will require a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement, enabling you to contribute to both immediate solutions and long-term operational improvements.
This role will be based in the Fox Valley area, with the majority of time spent on-site in Appleton and Green Bay; travel within this region will be approximately 50%.

Represent U.S. Energy at Suppliers – Act as the primary liaison between U.S. Energy and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
Inventory Management – Manage receiving and warehousing of U.S. Energy provided inventory. Assist suppliers in ensuring accurate inventory allocations and resolve material availability issues proactively to avoid disruption in assembly operations.
Quality Inspection - Responsible for inspecting raw materials, work in process, and finished inventory to ensure compliance with U.S. Energy standards.
Quality Control – Responsible for cataloging quality issues and creating root cause and corrective action documentation. Collaborate on implementing correct measures.
Testing – Assist in scheduling and conducting testing on finished products to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
End to End Expeditor –Prioritize and execute activities to meet U.S. Energy’s operational goals, and adapting to varied tasks as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain management, Operations Management, or Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. In lieu, will consider a combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a in manufacturing environment, including experience managing projects, vendors/suppliers or customer relationships
Supply chain experience preferred
Action oriented and self-motivated
Must be eager to be a hands-on contributor where needed
Exposure to project management tools and tactics
Able to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive, open-minded, and results oriented manner
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)
Good problem solving and communication skills
Must be onsite at supplier locations (Fox Valley, WI) or at U.S. Energy office 4 days a week
Ability to travel up to 50% within the Appleton/Green Bay area
