Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist production lead with changeovers as required (including moving materials, equipment, etc).
- Able to lift 50 to 70 lbs. Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.
- Adjust film tension as needed to improve performance
- Maintain production on the line, troubleshoot and correct issues on the line as quickly as possible to maintain production.
- Continuously inspect wrapper for issues with line, safety concerns, mechanical issues and notifies supervisor if there is a problem
- Perform related duties as assigned by management
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor / manager.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Provide emergency/unscheduled and scheduled repairs on production equipment during production and during scheduled downtime.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Maintaining the operation of-and troubleshooting-baking machinery and equipment
- Working with Production Technicians and Line Suprvisors to meet production deadlines by keeping equipment operating
- Recommending improvement in maintenance and operational procedures

- Rework all product as needed, do not waste product
- Notify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctions
- Clean up line continuously throughout shift
- Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.
- Ability to troubleshoot any issues in the mixing operation.
- Provide outstanding customer service to our partners
- Implement actions as needed to prevent food safety and food quality issues
- Coordinate with QA to ensure excellent quality is being produced
- Ensure customer specifications are being met through evaluation and immediate reaction
- Monitor and ensure that all GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP are met at all times
- Ensure Production Floor is SQF ready EVERYDAY
- Follow all safety and OSHA polices and report any issues or violations immediately to a supervisor.
- Prevent cross-contamination by following all policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste
Responsibilities:
Set up, start up, disassemble, reassemble and operate wrapper during production
Load, thread, and splice film into machine as required
Adjust film tension as needed to improve performance
Verify that the correct film is installed and used based on the product specifications.
Change film as needed.
Verify speed and temperature settings on line.
Ensures that product specifications are being achieved
Verify the look of the packaging and integrity of seal.
Check weight on packaging.
Test metal detector as required by paperwork and document your results.
If metal detector does not function properly during test, notify Production Lead and troubleshoot issue
immediately.
Maintain production on the line, troubleshoot and correct issues on the line as quickly as possible to
maintain production.
Continuously inspect wrapper for issues with line, safety concerns, mechanical issues and notifies supervisor
if there is a problem
Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.
Knowledge of SQF, GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirements.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Ability to read, write, and intermediate mathematical skills are required
Must be willing to work weekends and overtime when needed
Computer skills ability to learn and interact with HMI PLCs to properly setup wrappers for production
requirements.
Moderate mechanical aptitude is needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and all other food safety requirements
Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements
Reports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to QA and supervisor
Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting and climbing
Position will require working in very hot conditions
Other conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes if product burns

with authority to initiate action.
