In this role, you have the opportunity to Manage regional sales personnel to achieve and exceed sales plans within a specific budget. You will provide input to the Vice President of Sales regarding sales strategies and plans, and develop sales goals and objectives for each territory on a yearly, quarterly and monthly basis. You are responsible for Providing coaching and feedback to Business Development Sales Reps through field visits and phone contact Evaluating performance after sales calls, presentations, etc., in order to improve technical and selling skills of salespeople Assuring all field salespeople are meeting or exceeding all objectives set including both revenue-based objectives and market development objectives Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring field personnel for the region Assuring that new sales staff receives appropriate orientation and training Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all key account personnel within the region in order to support selling Providing performance and salary review of field sales personnel annually, and submitting recommendations to appropriate management Maintaining sales data and records on each territory in order to understand market trends, provide direction to employees, and communicate competitive data Effectively controlling/monitoring selling expenses in the region You are a part of The Philips RespirTech team, selling in a product line that has positively impacted many people, from changes to their health as well as their quality of life. When a doctor prescribes one of the respiratory care solutions we offer, we aim to make starting therapy as easy as possible. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience 5 years successful medical device/pharmaceutical/healthcare sales experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. DME experience is highly preferred Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time Demonstrable success in previous employment indicated by a high level of sales performance Solid job skills in business planning and territory financial analysis Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, team-oriented, and possesses demonstrated conceptual/consultative sales skills Experience managing a sales team Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.
