JOBSUMMARY
This is an Operationsposition responsible for performing the computer keying of allmaintenance records and repairs on fleet equipment into themaintenance software, answering phone calls from deliveryassociates and vendors regarding breakdowns, parts ordered, partsdeliveries, fuel deliveries, and other fleet maintenance relatedduties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inputall purchase orders into maintenancesoftware.
- Enter all work orders intomaintenance software.
- Direct phone calls to thefleet managers or others as needed.
- Identifyproblems and propose solutions to other members of management forimproved shop efficiency.
- Work directly andindirectly with other departments withinSysco.
- Maintain and review the inventory ofparts and supplies.
- Analyze prices fromvendors.
- Work with maintenance trackingsoftware to ensure all equipment is scheduled for preventativemaintenance (PM) and other maintenance asneeded.
- Assign backhaul pickups throughout theday.
- Receive incoming calls from drivers,associates, and customers and be able and willing to answer allquestions.
- Keep management informed of allactivities concerning the Operationsdepartment.
