The Product Marketing team is responsible for accelerating GMAC’s product growth through championing the customer, developing and communicating product value, and driving product demand and adoption in support of GMAC’s product and mission success.
The Manager, Product Marketing supports the GMAC Product Marketing team by developing product positioning strategies and campaigns to generate awareness, leads and sales of our products and services. Additionally, the Manager, Product Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving the success of GMAC’s products through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective go-to-market strategies. You will partner closely with product leadership to set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for GMACs consumer products and services, and ensure products are positioned effectively and successfully in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize and develop actionable plans for new marketing strategies.
Use consumer and market insights to develop hypotheses and create test-and-learn plans for improving experiences and functionality across key areas in Digital.
Define the strategy to optimize key digital journeys based on the experience that’s right for the customer and aligned to business priorities.
Challenge current practices and build new methodologies to optimize team efforts.
Optimize in-market experiences to meet customer's needs and channel KPIs through continual testing and adjusting based on customer feedback, eventually resulting in handing off experience to everyday management of experience.
Work closely with Product Management, Market Development and Director, Product Marketing to develop and implement quarterly global marketing plan including campaign objectives.
Manage day-to-day campaign development, planning, creative design and goal development.
Act as a central entry point for Product Management and Market Development regarding specific product lines. Partnering to develop and execute marketing and communications plans for B2C audiences.
Collaborate with internal and external creative agencies to develop creative and messaging for use in various marketing channels.
Lead marketing meetings and planning sessions with guidance of Director, Product Marketing.
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all candidate touch points related to specific products.
Work with Market Development and Product Management to conduct research.
Work with Marketing Operations and Analytics to ensure correct tracking is in place and reporting dashboards are developed to support your needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or certification; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
3-5 years’ experience in marketing field.
Strong digital marketing experience, including working with marketing automation tools, email marketing, website management, social media, and google analytics.
Experience managing Product Marketing for a specific product line.
Experience with A/B testing methodology.
Experience working on integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
Exceptional organizational, project planning, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.
Experience on a metrics-driven marketing team focused on lead generation and conversions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail, with a keen focus on quality.
Comfort with multi-tasking.
Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC’s hybrid work environment.
