Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician II to join our team at US0047 Sysco Minnesota, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and repairs on heavy duty trucks and equipment to ensure optimal safety and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on complex vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete large-scale maintenance projects and improve overall fleet reliability.
- Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and extend the life of company-owned vehicles.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training and a High school diploma or GED are required.
- At least 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks, as well as annual inspector certification and brake inspector certification, are preferred.
