Job Description
This role is responsible for performing high-level maintenance and repair work on heavy duty trucks and equipment, with a focus on ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose complex issues with engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and extend the life of company-owned vehicles.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete large-scale maintenance projects and improve overall fleet reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in heavy duty truck maintenance and repair.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on diagnostic and repair work.
- ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks, as well as annual inspector certification and brake inspector certification, are preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other technicians and stakeholders.
