This is an Operations position responsible for performing product receiving activities, operating and maintaining equipment associated with warehouse activity and performing other related duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect all products being unloaded for quality and quantity against purchase orders.
- Document any discrepancies on purchase orders and notify warehouse management and merchandising teams.
- Ensure truck drivers are secured before unloading begins and all unwanted product is returned to the truck.
- Sign all necessary paperwork before releasing the truck and ensure drivers' signatures are obtained.
- Clean dock areas as needed and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school education.
- Up to one year of experience in a similar role or at Sysco.
- Pallet Jack and Forklift Certification from Sysco (if applicable).
