It's a great time to join Air Products! We invite you to apply to an Accountant role available at our global HQ in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Hybrid model: WFH 2 days and 3 days in office, after training is completed. This exciting role is part of a highly regarded reporting and consolidations team that is engaged in the Company’s dynamic, growing business in 50 countries, and works with various partners within the finance organization.

The Accountant will primarily focus on incentive compensation accounting, external reporting, and technical U.S. GAAP research. Because of the global reach and scope of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop knowledge in many areas of accounting. No previous experience in SEC reporting or incentive compensation accounting is required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Accounting and analysis of global cash incentive and share-based compensation programs including BOD and executive compensation.

• Support equity plan administration through collaboration and coordination with Finance, Legal, HR, and our third-party record keeper.

• Provide support to our global accounting teams to complete statutory financial statements - assisting with preparation, review, and issuance (including 10-Q and 10-K filings) and proxy report.

• Leading or participating in presentations and special projects.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with management, external auditors, and team members

• Emphasis on operational improvements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Team-oriented, a commitment to learning, and a strong sense of ownership and motivation

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

• 2 - 4 years of accounting experience

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Associates/Bachelors in related field.

• Big 4 public accounting experience and a CPA is preferred

• Proficient in researching and applying U.S. GAAP

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); SAP experience is a plus
