Reimagine What’s Possible The Granite City facility produces and distributes Liquid Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Argon as well as bulk Hydrogen and Liquid Hydrogen throughout the Midwest and Canada. You will report to the Granite City Distribution Site manager and will be responsible for the maintenance of Company owned tractors and trailers. The primary responsibilities will be to: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary on trailers and tractors Document/record work performed electronically on the computer Perform road repairs when necessary Perform cryogenic pump maintenance Perform electrical/electronic repairs and installs on tractors and trailers Calibrate pump discharge meters Minor welding and fabricating as required Qualifications: High School diploma/equivalent Class A CDL preferred Strong mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills Energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety Strong team player with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel Solid work history Ability to drive a tractor Welding knowledge and experience Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits Diesel engine troubleshooting and minor repair experience This is a safety sensitive position #INDGIG #LI-WG1 Air Products proudly values the skills, dedication, and leadership that veterans bring to the table.
