Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
5 years experience with Electrical Engineering, Industrial Gas Plants, and Electrical Codes

Summary:
Collaborate with management, engineering, IT, safety, and production personnel on system support activities at AT&S across Airgas production facilities nationwide.
Assist with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
Serve as a cross functional member on a multi-disciplined team to assist with maintenance of automated gas filling, blending, and analytical systems.
Technical ability to build, repair, and maintain all systems within AT&S.
Ability to differentiate and resolve mechanical, electrical, analytical and IT related issues.
Advanced troubleshooting skills required for more sophisticated automation systems remote/on-site

Are you a MATCH?
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
5 years’ experience safely installing and maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex and safety sensitive automated systems.
5 years experience in an Industrial Gas Plant Environment.
Knowledge of electrical codes: NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, NFPA 496, UL 508A, etc.
3-5 years' experience with industrial controls, computer and PLC networks, set up and assistance
Demonstrable history of completing projects on time and within budget.
Preferred:
Experience managing and knowledge of the following areas highly desirable: Specialty Gases, Computer Engineering / IT, Electronics, Electrical systems, IO/ PLC control systems & methodologies, FEA, CFD, Hazops, Experience with PLC controls, HAZOP procedures, Vision systems, RoboticsHigh attention to detail, and ability to interpret intricate drawings and instruction manuals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or customers.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
