Day Shift $21/hourly Marketing experience not required JOB SUMMARY The Operations Lead provides leadership by managing a team of operational support personnel and duties associated with team leadership including but not limited to overseeing operations. The position will oversee a team of 2-5 direct reports and may be responsible for additional dedicated resources. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for managing the work and productivity of the team of operation Put away and replenishment Item demand/count checks Communicate any issues or suggestions to Supervisor Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary Ensure all employees are performing duties accurately and efficiently Assist management with safety initiatives Assist management with other duties as needed Education High School Diploma or GED required Experience Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Management in a corporate environment along with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. Skills Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency Ability to effectively write and present information/reports and respond to questions from suppliers, customers, management and inter-department staff Capable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and develop individuals and teams • Able to engage and lead team discussions and meetings Understands team dynamics and works well within a team structure Collaborative management style and a strategic team player Delegates responsibilities effectively Able to understand team dynamics and work well within a team structure Capable of working with associates from other departments and shifts in a proactive and constructive manner Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divides into all units of measure • Compute rate, ratio, and percent • Able to use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to understand and execute all relevant policies and procedures in a consistent, timely and objective manner Ability to read, follow and execute all safety guidelines in the warehouse Customer Service – Respond promptly to requests for service and assistance as needed.
