Job Summary:
This is a sales position that reports directly to the Manager or Director of Sales. The role promotes the company's products and services, focusing on building relationships with designated accounts. It helps FreshPoint customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals set by the company through in-store stocking and replenishment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer and FreshPoint sales, volume, and profit grow year-over-year by maintaining adequate inventory levels based on customer demand. Properly stock displays according to customer-defined schematics with quality products, removing freshness-dated and damaged items before leaving the section or store.
- Optimize consumer engagement on shelves by performing basic duties related to new and existing merchandise, including price changes, tagging, ad setup, and shelf arrangements. Clean fixtures when stocking or dressing down departments to provide a pleasing customer experience.
- Promote partnership with retailers. Foster client relationships by visiting employees, department managers, and store managers. Collaborate with store leadership on product displays.
- Manage product ordering for FreshPoint to ensure sufficient inventory is available at stores or held in backstock areas to meet consumer demand until the next order arrives. Arrange for credits for damaged products.
- Input orders and resolve conflicts. Set up orders in customer systems and address issues with billing, receiving, and scanning at the customer level.
Required Education:
High School Diploma
Preferred Experience:
2 years of retail merchandising experience with a valid driver's license
