Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: The Clorox- Atlanta West facility is seeking a qualified individual to lead in the technical areas of our Quality department, the individual will prepare and present detailed information, update and run recurrent or one-time reports, among other responsibilities. The individual must also have ability to Lead / own special assignments and coordinate various Quality / Operational processes. The successful person in this role must be able to optimally influence the Plant and Corporate Quality by using Standard Decision-Making Processes to mandate and drive compliance. This role includes responsibility in Investigations (RCA & CAPA) and report writing skills, data analysis and statistics background are a plus. Starting Hourly rate: $36.51 SCHEDULE: Onsite (Mon- Fri) 8-hour shift needed to support operations; flexibility required for off-shifts and some week-ends may be included. Schedule will change based on business needs. Some travel will be required. In this role, you will: Acts as site contact with Division Quality and Corporate Quality regarding quality systems, standards, and variances to manufacturing process Lead problem analysis/ diagnosis to processing operations and Various WCM Pillar Teams i.e. T&Q, Daily Operations, Improvement Methods. Monitor and report out key process indicators in daily production meetings, bring up issues as they arise. Track Cost of Quality with preventive action plan toward loss reduction. Manage Reporting systems that include Product Capability/ Quality, EQMS, or similar. Tracking of Quality Notifications for timely and accurate completion of non-conformance reporting. Mentor Quality Coordinators in forming relationships and communications with suppliers and vendors to include material issue resolution, quality initiatives, and periodic partnership meetings. Assist with training of Quality Coordinators. Lead audits including product quality checks. Lead completion of action plans related to Audits Lead Cost Savings projects related to processes and procedures i.e. Quality, Processing Capability and Focus Improvement efforts. Lead peers in root cause investigation and resolution for all quality issues and manage all associated communication including corrective action meetings and reports. Act as "Plant Leader" of Synergy system for data integrity, entry, training of site employees and all quality reporting. Lead plant communications related to Quality status and opportunities. Lead and execute the quality variance process in accordance with Clorox processes. Leads documentation on quality testing requirements for product changes Lead Customer Complaint Resolution through Plant and Corporate Resources. May involve travel to customer locations Lead completion of all QTRACS standards as required through EQMS System. #LIOnsite What we look for: Minimum qualifications: 1 year of manufacturing experience. Knowledgable with Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, PowerBI etc. Enterprise resource planning tools (ERP) – SAP, Oracle, etc. Capable of effectively managing time and assigning priority to work. Flexibility to accommodate overtime (days or weekends) or schedule changes due to business needs. Ability to travel as the need arises for training and development. Ability/capability to lead transactions, research and generate reports within the SAP system. Strong Skills in Leadership, Influence, Interpersonal, People Development and written. Detail-oriented, willingness to learn, creativity, and sense of urgency. Strong dedication to plant’s non-negotiables, OGSM, WCO principles, MVP, and company’s core values. Be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Workdays and schedule may change periodically for training purposes, and according to business needs. Must be able to work off shift and some weekends as business needs arise. Meets overall selection criteria in the areas of performance, leadership, attendance, job skills, manager feedback, and other criteria specifically established for this position. Preferred qualifications: 5 years of manufacturing experience. 1 years of quality assurance experience. An Associates/Technical degree in Data Analytics/Science, Quality Management, or another comparable field. Quality Certification (ex. ASQ). Extensive Intelex, SAP and Synergy knowledge. Experience in quality/inventory management. Desire experience with interacting and managing vendors and suppliers. Familiarity of World Class Operation practices.
