We are currently looking for an experienced Gas Station Attendant to join our team. A candidate in this position will be responsible for checking customers' IDs and dispensing gas, and must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The Gas Station Attendant will also need to be familiar with state and federal laws relating to the sale of alcohol, cigarettes, and lottery tickets. The successful candidate for this position will have strong customer service skills, an ability to work independently, and a commitment to understanding each customer's specific needs.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the doors closed and locked.
- Check the doors, floors, and windows to make sure they are secure.
- Monitor security cameras and report to management if anything suspicious is observed.
- Clean the bathrooms daily.
- Keep all of the equipment in working order.
- Monitor and report the fuel gauge levels.
- Sell fuel according to company protocols.
- Collect deposits from customers for the returnable bottles and cans in their cars.
- Use good judgment when dealing with customers.
- Answer questions about gas station policies and station information.
