Duties

- Accurately process sales transactions using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively upsell products.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory as required.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding their purchases and any inquiries they may have.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling and security procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic math and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction is a plus.
