Job Title: Local Truck Driver
Location: El Paso, TX
Compensation: $14/hr with comprehensive benefits package
Overview:
We are seeking experienced truck drivers to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a local truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods within a 40-mile radius of the El Paso area. We offer a variety of schedules to accommodate different preferences, and we provide 100% no-touch freight, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer with a trailer of 40 feet or more within designated routes.
- Transport goods between local destinations within a 40-mile radius of El Paso, TX.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
Requirements:
- Must reside within a 40-mile radius of El Paso, TX.
- Minimum 6 months of OTR/Regional experience with tractor-trailer and trailer of 40 feet or more within the last year.
- Alternatively, minimum 12 months of OTR/Regional experience with tractor-trailer and trailer of 40 feet or more within the last 3 years.
- Houston drivers must have a minimum of 2 years of OTR/Regional experience with tractor-trailer and trailer of 40 feet or more within the past 3 years.
- Local, regional, or OTR experience will be considered.
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Available Schedules:
1. Monday-Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm with 1 Saturday per month
2. Rotating Schedule: 4 days on/4 days off, 3:00pm - 3:00am
3. Rotating Schedule: 4 days on/4 days off, 5:00am - 5:00pm
4. Rotating Schedule: 4 days on/4 days off, 5:00pm - 5:00am
5. Rotating Schedule: 4 days on/4 days off, 6:00pm - 6:00am
