We are seeking a dedicated Inventory & Purchasing Specialist to join our Accounting Team, based in our Northbrook, Illinois corporate office! This role will be responsible for managing the purchasing, tracking, and inventory control of clinical supplies across all of our locations. This position will involve regular travel to our clinics (approximately 25% travel, including traveling to different states) to assess inventory needs and ensure efficient supply management.
Responsibilities
Track and maintain accurate inventory levels for clinical supplies across all locations
Ensure each clinic has sufficient stock to meet operational needs
Order and procure clinical supplies in a timely manner, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Regularly monitor expiration dates of clinical supplies and coordinate timely rotation or disposal of expired items to minimize waste.
Maintain detailed records of all inventory transactions. Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, purchasing trends, and supply usage to inform decision-making.
Travel to clinic locations approximately 25% of the time to assess inventory needs, conduct audits, and ensure proper inventory management practices are followed.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management and purchasing procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements
Bachelors degree, required
3-year Of Experience In a Similar Role, Required
Ability to travel to clinic locations in different states.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Pay Rate: $26.00-$36.00 per hour
