Summary/Objective:
The Eddy Current Assistant will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment, materials, and machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Follow established techniques and procedures, for the cleaning and inspecting of heat exchangers, fin fans, condensers, and various fixed equipment.
- Ability to prepare and assist in the mobilization, set-up and de-mobilization of cleaning and testing equipment.
- Inventory equipment ensuring job ready status after each job, and perform preventative maintenance on some service equipment.
- Ensures all documents relating to a job are prepared and processed according to established procedures.
- Adherent to Employee's Responsibilities section set forth in USA DeBusk’s Safety Policies and Procedures Manual.
Qualifications:
- You must pass the test requirements detailed in the Quality Assurance Manual.
- Eddy Current (ET) experience is highly preferred but not required.
- General labor experience is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- TWIC - if recently applied or it, a receipt will suffice for interview purposes.
- Must possess either a valid, unexpired Driver’s license or State issued I.D.
- Must be capable of passing a hair follicle and urine drug screen.
- Must be capable of passing a Motor Vehicle (MVR) screen.
- Must be capable of understanding and following verbal and written instructions.
- Must possess Basic Safety Training Skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
- Physically capable of climbing, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
