Job Description
The crew leader will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation and high-pressure water blasting.
The crew leader will use leadership skills to ensure that the crews are following company and customer standards, policies and best practices.
This is a full-time position with opportunity for overtime. Applicants may be required to travel up to 30% of the time.
Duties :
- Lead crews, offer feedback, assist crews and train new employees in completion of the job duties in accordance with all company and client policy
- Ensure all equipment is functioning
- Must have specific knowledge of all Hydro Blast Pumps (10K, 20K, 40K)
- Must have specific knowledge of Liquid Vacuum and Air Machine Trucks
- Load out hydro blast and vacuum truck jobs, i.e. be familiar with all pieces of equipment necessary to safely and effectively complete the required job scope
- Inspect all aspects of work from the jobsite to equipment before commencing work
- Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork
- Communicate Updates with Clients
- Complete time sheets and all admin paperwork for a job
