This role acts as a crucial link between the R&D design team and production, ensuring that prototypes and new products are efficiently assembled, tested, and refined for scalability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of prototypes and R&D-developed products.
• Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to build and refine product components.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment used in production.
• Perform hands-on modifications and adjustments to designs based on feedback from engineers and testing results.
• Work closely with R&D engineers to refine manufacturing and assembly processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products, ensuring they meet specifications and performance requirements.
• Assist in documenting assembly procedures and production workflows for future reference and scalability.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and components, coordinating with the R&D Resource Coordinator for timely replenishment.
• Support testing and validation efforts by setting up test rigs and recording performance data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Provide feedback on potential design improvements based on ease of assembly and manufacturability.
  
  

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical or electronic assembly, prototyping, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines, or welding/fabrication equipment (preferred but not required).
• Willingness to adapt and work in a dynamic R&D environment where product designs frequently change.
