Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of prototypes and R&D-developed products.
- Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to build and refine product components.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment used in production.
- Perform hands-on modifications and adjustments to designs based on feedback from engineers and testing results.
- Work closely with R&D engineers to refine manufacturing and assembly processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products, ensuring they meet specifications and performance requirements.
- Assist in documenting assembly procedures and production workflows for future reference and scalability.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and components, coordinating with the R&D Resource Coordinator for timely replenishment.
- Support testing and validation efforts by setting up test rigs and recording performance data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Provide feedback on potential design improvements based on ease of assembly and manufacturability.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical or electronic assembly, prototyping, or manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines, or welding/fabrication equipment (preferred but not required).
- Willingness to adapt and work in a dynamic R&D environment where product designs frequently change.
