Overview:
USA Football is seeking enthusiastic, adaptable, and dependable individuals to join our Event Operations team for the Summer Series — our flagship international flag football event hosted at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles. This premier event brings together youth and adult teams from around the world for a week of high-level competition and cultural exchange.
Event Operations team members will serve in a dual-role capacity: supporting key logistics across the venue and acting as liaisons for international teams. This role is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at problem-solving, and are passionate about delivering a world-class experience for athletes, coaches, and fans.
Key Responsibilities
Event Operations Support
- Assist with daily event setup and teardown, including fields, signage, equipment, hospitality zones, and other operational areas.
- Help coordinate event logistics such as team schedules, meal distribution, transportation routes, and venue readiness.
- Provide on-site support across various departments to ensure seamless operations and a professional event environment.
- Assist in the execution of Fan Experience activations.
International Team Liaison
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for assigned international teams.
- Support team movements throughout the venue, ensuring timely transitions and clear communication.
- Assist with transportation coordination and conduct dorm room checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Deliver timely and accurate event information to teams, providing an exceptional level of service throughout the event.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass a background check. (provided)
- Completion of SafeSport Certification (provided).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Prior experience working with youth, sports teams, or international groups is a plus.
- Ability to work long or irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, live-event setting.
