SUMMARY
USA for UNHCR is seeking an Associate, Multimedia Content to be an integral part of the Communications team, collaborating closely with fundraising colleagues to produce compelling multimedia content and creative assets that engage and steward supporters and enhance fundraising initiatives. This role ensures brand integrity and consistency across all creative products, leveraging design, video, animation, and audio production to amplify USA for UNHCRs storytelling efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design & Digital Content Creation: Develop and edit digital assets for email, website, and SMS, including video production, audio production, animation, and presentations.
- Print & Digital Collateral: Design multimedia communication and fundraising materials such as campaign collateral, reports, one-pagers, pitch decks, newsletters, invitations, branded merchandise, and event collateral.
- Brand & Quality Assurance: Help maintain the organizations brand hub, ensuring consistency across style guides, logos, letterhead, and presentation templates.
- Multimedia Review & Standards: Provide quality assurance reviews for video, graphics, audio, and print materials to uphold brand integrity and design best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization to develop creative content that aligns with strategic goals.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- At least2-3yearsrelated experience in graphic design, video editing, communications or related field; Associates Degreepreferred,Bachelorsdegree, a plus
- In lieu of education/degree requirements, a successful candidate will:
- Equivalent professional experience in graphic design, multimedia content creation, or a related field.
- Experience demonstrating design, video editing, animation, and multimedia storytelling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate creative concepts into compelling visual content for digital and print platforms.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and After Effects.
- Experience in graphic design, video production, basic animation, video and audio editing, and photography.
- Familiarity with design accessibility best practices and principles for digital and print materials.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling content that resonates with donors and supporters.
- Project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to receive and interpret creative requests from multiple stakeholders and develop content aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work across departments effectively.
- Passion for humanitarian issues, with an understanding of refugee and global affairs preferred.
WORK LOCATION
Hybrid Washington, DC May also involve travel to some locations within the companys region of operations and select donor locations.
COMPENSATION
$61,953 - $72,795
