Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to assess heart conditions and support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment
- Analyze images to identify abnormalities or defects in the heart
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide accurate reports
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Adhere to protocols and safety measures during procedures
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members
Qualifications
- Proficient in physiology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and vital signs
- Skilled in using aseptic techniques in a lab or radiology setting
