Job Overview
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and critical care environment.
Duties
- Utilize your expertise in medication administration and IV insertion to deliver precise treatments to critically ill patients.
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring specialized care, including those on ventilators or undergoing dialysis.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and maintain composure under pressure.
- Employ your skills in behavioral health to support patients and families during challenging times.
Experience
- Previous experience in ICU, Level I Trauma Center, or similar high-acuity setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in handling critical situations with confidence and competence.
- Familiarity with travel nursing, home care, or clinic environments is advantageous.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures such as inhalation therapy and dialysis is a plus.
