Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
- Assist in emergency medical situations and provide critical care as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in emergency medicine and critical care practices
- Strong knowledge of health coaching principles
- Experience in medical imaging interpretation
- Familiarity with home care practices and protocols
- Ability to provide infectious disease care and prevention strategies
- Competence in specimen collection processing, including venipuncture techniques
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation and billing
