Job Summary
As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care for patients who require continuous monitoring and treatment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of patients in critical or progressive care settings.
Duties
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in case management for coordinating patient care.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) for emergency response.
- Experience in medical office procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment for specific patient needs.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and medications.
- Ability to operate neonatal ventilators for critical infant care.
- Skill in dialysis procedures for patients with renal conditions.
