The Provider Relations Network Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining healthcare provider contracts within a health plan network. Their primary duties include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting Up Provider Contracts – Ensuring that new healthcare providers are properly added to the system, including database setup and loading.
- Database Management – Maintaining and updating provider information in the system, ensuring they are assigned the correct reimbursement schedules.
- Administrative Tasks – Preparing necessary documents and materials related to provider contracts.
- Communication & Coordination – Acting as a point of contact between the health plan and providers, helping resolve issues and clarifying network details.
- Issue Resolution – Addressing provider-related concerns and working with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- EPIC Database Use – Utilizing the EPIC system (a widely used electronic health record platform) to manage provider data.
- Reporting & Data Analysis – Generating reports, analyzing provider data, and troubleshooting issues related to provider networks.
Purpose of the Role:
This role helps ensure that healthcare providers are properly onboarded and maintained within the health plan network, supporting smooth operations and effective communication between providers and the health insurance company.
