Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in psychiatric settings and possess a strong passion for providing quality care to patients in need of mental health support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists
- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options
- Respond effectively to crisis situations in a calm and professional manner
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a psychiatric setting is preferred
- Proficiency in conducting vital signs assessments
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric care
- Ability to perform venipuncture for blood draws
- Familiarity with Botulinum toxin treatment is a plus
- Experience in an ICU, ER, or Level II Trauma Center is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction

Pay: $2,400.00 - $2,460.00 per week
