Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist in procedures such as spinal taps, sterile processing, and acute pain management
- Provide care for patients with hospice palliative medicine, dementia care, and senior care needs
- Work in diverse healthcare settings including nursing homes, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinics
Experience
- Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Familiarity with physiology and anatomy
- Strong knowledge of acute pain management techniques
- Experience in caring for patients in hospice palliative medicine, nursing homes, and ambulatory surgery centers
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.50 - $76.61 per hour
