Responsibilities
The Department of Surgery at the University of South Alabama Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Surgeon who has completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to join the faculty as a Vascular Surgeon in Mobile, Alabama. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in academic surgery in the areas of patient care, medical education, and research. The applicant will be tasked with developing the Vascular Surgery program. Applicants should be board eligible or boarded in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Teaching general surgery residents, medical students, and advanced practitioners is an integral part of the program.
