Responsibilities
The position of the Radiologic Assistant is to assist the technologist in the performance of radiological examinations, and to assists the patient on an as needed basis; assists patient to and from bed/stretcher/wheelchair; pushes/pulls stretchers/wheelchairs from all patient care areas to and from the Radiology Department; required to write on appropriate floor documentation the destination of the patient; must be capable of assessing patient’s needs; must be capable of understanding direction from Radiologic Technologist to assist in acquiring Radiographic images; pushes portable x-ray equipment to various patient care areas and assists Technologists in the performance of Radiologic imaging; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
