Responsibilities
Leads Culinary Team in Chef's absence.Provides guidance to kitchen staff members,including,but not limited,to cooking,food preparation, meal plating.Ensures a first-in,first-out food rotation system and verifies that all food products are properly dated and organized for consistent quality on a daily basis.Follows all recipes. Responsible for maintaining all food temperatures logs on a daily basis.Manages food and product ordering and food waste control by working with policy and procedures that are in place.Verifies that all storage units, cold or dry meet standards,daily. Maintains all sanitation standards that are in effect under State and Local and USA Health guidelines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of practical and managerial experience in a volume food operation setting, Servsafe Certification required.
