Job Summary:
The Drug Testing Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the drug testing process and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills to manage a team of drug-testing technicians and coordinate testing activities. The Drug Testing Team Lead is responsible for maintaining accurate records, conducting tests, and providing guidance on drug testing procedures. This position requires 2 weekends a month of on-call coverage, as well as coverage during the week for post accidents as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and guidance to a team of drug testing technicians.
Onsite testing and customer visits
Schedule and assign work tasks to team members.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Train new team members on drug testing procedures and protocols.
Address any performance or disciplinary issues that may arise.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee the drug testing process and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Coordinate and schedule drug testing appointments for employees and job applicants.
Conduct drug tests, following established procedures and protocols.
Collect and handle specimens in a secure and confidential manner.
Ensure documentation is sent to MRO
Maintain accurate records of drug testing activities, including results and chain of custody documentation.
Manage random drug testing protocols and compliance
Coordinate monthly or quarterly on-site with clients
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of drug testing supplies and equipment.
Monthly testing and account reconciliation
Stay updated on changes in drug testing regulations and industry best practices.
Provide guidance and support to team members regarding drug testing procedures and protocols.
Assist with the development and implementation of drug testing policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and legal, to address drug testing-related issues.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of drug testing procedures, protocols, and legal regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and provide guidance to team members.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Proficient in using drug testing equipment and software systems.

Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Certification in drug testing procedures, such as DATIA or SAPAA, is highly desirable.
Previous experience in drug testing or a related field is preferred.
Supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform drug tests.
Manual dexterity to handle and process specimens.
Ability to lift and carry drug testing supplies and equipment as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Application Question(s):
- Travel is 95% in the DFW area, are you able to travel to and from client sites throughout the area.
- Are you available for flexible coverage, as we are a 24/7/365 Operation and require flexibility for this position. Main office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday but on call and after hours availability is needed.
- This position requires on-call one weekend a month. Are you able to do this?
