What You’ll Do

Ensure “Best in Class” training and support to DAS employees. Perform basic administrative functions in the learning management system (LMS) to launch and troubleshoot training content in assistance with the Learning and Development team. Organize, create and administer various day to day training activities including learner enrollment, logical set-up, material planning, and post training follow-up/analysis. Plan the overall instructional flow of course content to ensure it’s appropriate, clearly communicated and technically accurate.

Responsibilities


  • Develop curriculum and training materials for all applicable functions of the loan origination system and other software, systems, and procedures necessary to facilitate job specific training programs to newly hired employees. Assist in creating training through DAS University (DASU) to internal associates on compliance, Encompass LOS, and product training in a formal classroom or web-based setting.
  • Manage and coordinate training projects for the organization. Ensure feedback is provided to immediate manager on employee’s progress throughout training program and at conclusion. Share formal assessment results with the manager and discuss need for follow up training, if any.
  • Design assessment tools to measure understanding of trained material of each new employee; provide feedback to hiring managers regarding the progress of new hires during and after training.
  • Administer testing and surveys throughout the training program and at conclusion of each program to assess employee’s development and needs for ongoing training. Offer feedback on any additional training that may be required to ensure the candidate’s success.

Coordinate training projects, and additional requests assigned to the Learning and Development Team. Create internal job aids and presentations for all training projects and needs.

Requirements:


Broad Knowledge & Experience

Extensive experience in facilitating job specific training programs within the mortgage industry.


Above Average Skills

Multi-tasking, Interpersonal verbal and written communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in PowerPoint, Zoom, Microsoft Teams


Demonstrated Ability

Detail orientation, service excellence, creativity and adaptability. Ability to work independently in completing tasks and projects with minimal supervision.


General Knowledge

Maintain extensive knowledge of mortgage industry and regulations to ensure learning materials are up to date with current regulations. Must demonstrate a positive attitude, planning and execution, strong work ethic, management, and strong presentation skills.

Education & Experience


Degree or Equivalent

BSBA or BS


Years’ Experience

3 years training experience or relevant industry experience.


Specialized Training

PowerPoint, Web based presentation, audio/visual equipment.


Work Environment


Physical Demands

Office environment: Daily computer usage requires close vision.


Work Conditions

High performance, Fast paced, high volume activities with multiple competing priorities.


Temperament

In order to succeed in this position, a combination of presentation skills, ability to drive change, amidst a fast-changing environment a must.
