Equipment Operator

USA Precast Concrete provides standard & custom precast concrete products and is conveniently located in Canal Fulton, Ohio, to service the Northern Ohio area. Our facility has the capability of providing virtually any size structure that can be shipped.

Applicants’ duties may involve but are not limited to;

• Perform efficient & safe operation of fork lifts, excavators, front end loaders, wheel loaders and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate physical inventory of products in yard.
• Inspect yard products for QC deficiencies, properly document all QC issues and coordinate repair of products.
• Manage location and placement of products in inventory to ensure effective access.
• Coordinate with Logistics Manager to identify and stage customer shipments.
• Direct and assist with loading & unloading of company and customer vehicles.
• Check with production team throughout the day to identify any changes that may have occurred.
• Maintain/Schedule required PMCS for all equipment used in course of duties.
• Follow chain of command, connecting with Logistics Manager for unforeseen issues.
• Maintain proper stock of yard consumables, i.e.; blocking, pallets, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe yard projecting a professional appearance.
• Assist Logistics Manager in any duties required.
• Maintain a positive, professional & productive manner at all times.
• Any other duties as required by the position.

Requirements:

· Must pass pre-employment drug test

· Must be 18 years or older

· Previous experience/certification desired

· Commitment to PPE: Steel-toed boots, hard hat, gloves, hearing protection and safety gear required; Covid-19 Protocols and mask wearing required.

Physical Requirements:

· Reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, balancing

· Lifting, carrying, pushing pulling 30-50lbs on a regular basis

· Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal in a production plant environment
