The Clinical Dietitian who will assume responsibility for the overall nutritional well-being of patients and residents
The successful candidate will conduct nutrition assessments, identifying residents at nutrition risk, perform resident rounds, create diet plans, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions. As well as provide nutrition education to patients|residents, families and personnel.
Clinical dietitian will work alongside the medical staff and interdisciplinary team to determine the plan of care promoting the best outcomes for patients|residents and their families.
Job Requirements :
Minimum Education Requirement :
Bachelor of Science degree in human Nutrition and Dietetics required
Registration Eligible required
Certified Dietitian|Nutritionist in NYS preferred
Minimum Experience Requirement :
One year acute care experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical expertise in Optimus, Meditech, MS Word, MS Excel, MSOutlook
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and public relations skills.
Displays excellent customer service skills.
