We’re working with a fast-growing AI-driven personalisation platform transforming how businesses engage, retain, and monetize customers. Their technology uses machine learning to deliver real-time, individualised experiences.
As a senior member of the Data Science team, you'll shape the vision and roadmap for their ML models and AI products. Your work will power personalization at scale, serving millions of decisions daily. You'll dive into research areas like recommender systems, causal inference, transformers, content understanding, and reinforcement learning to build intelligent agents and next-gen automation tools.
This would be a fully onsite position in Palo Alto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and refine ML algorithms for personalization, growth, and automation.
- Build production-ready AI agents that manage dynamic workflows and adapt in real time.
- Improve offline evaluation methods and performance metrics.
- Analyze large-scale data and extract insights using ML and statistical techniques.
- Share actionable insights with product, engineering, and client-facing teams.
- Stay current with the latest ML research and trends.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
- 5 years developing and deploying ML models and scalable software systems.
- Deep experience with Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX), and data tools (NumPy, Pandas, etc.).
- Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, and information retrieval at scale.
- Background in recommender systems, ranking, and causal inference.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and large-scale data environments.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working beyond your core domain—whether in product strategy or cross-functional planning.
