USA Track and Field’s national office, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, has multiple internship opportunities for the summer of 2024. USA Track & Field (USATF) is the National Governing Body for track and field, long-distance running and race walking in the United States. USATF encompasses the world's oldest organized sports, the most-watched events of Olympic broadcasts, the #1 high school and junior high school participatory sport and more than 30 million adult runners in the United States.

The start and end dates for each intern are between May 19 and August 1, 2025* and may be tailored to individual schedules. No internships will exceed 10 weeks. This is a paid internship of $17.00/hour. The candidates will need to relocate to the Indianapolis area during this time frame; housing is not provided. All candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test and be fully vaccinated for COVID 19. All candidates must be 21 years of age or older by the start date of the internship. - Work with each USATF department/program to add new content and update areas of the website
- Learn basics of website development and content management
- Create and coordinate pre- and post-event coverage for National Championships and Team USATF events, including posting of event information, photo galleries, video clips, and results
- Communicate with volunteer segments of the organization, as well as the public, on website related issues, including content management and relevant updates
- Manage flow of USATF email blasts from department conception to approval to execution
- Provide marketing feedback to USATF departments regarding eblast statistics through an email marketing platform
- Support staff with desktop/printer issues and setup
- Must be willing to travel domestically
