What You Will Do: Develop technical proposals of how the organization's products and services can meet customer needs and be integrated and implemented with the customer's existing systems and equipment. Develop and deliver sales presentations and respond to technical questions regarding the organization's product, system, or service. Estimate the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the organization's products and services to meet customer needs. Liaise with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to ensure that products and services are modified, configured, and installed according to customer needs. Respond to customer questions and troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems that arise during or after implementation. Train customers on the features of the product or service they have purchased. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience 2 years of experience Expertise in providing technical advice during larger or difficult negotiations, or with customers who are of strategic importance to the organization. Interact politely and professionally with customers and /or coworkers Strong customer skills including the ability to explain and train. Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively Work in an unsupervised environment Read, write, and speak English fluently Use a computer to communicate, create, and access data PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND JOB CONDITIONS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May sit for extended periods of time. Moving between desk and file cabinets and/or office equipment. Substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to use a computer. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal. The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
