You'll embark on a new career path as a Bank Customer Service Representative. Our comprehensive, fully paid three-month training program will equip you with the skills needed to succeed in this role.
Through our In-Office Development Program, you'll receive ongoing training and encouragement to develop a proactive and independent support style to serve our membership.
We're seeking dedicated professionals to work in our Tampa offices, serving bank customer service and sales opportunities in 2025. Our offices are located at 17200 Commerce Park Blvd, Tampa, and 9257 Delaney Creek Blvd, Brandon. Weekly work schedules vary and may include one weekend day.
New training classes start every month, and military veterans and spouses are highly encouraged to apply. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound member calls in a fast-paced contact center environment.
- Use effective communication, probing questions, and critical thinking skills to identify member needs and provide relevant solutions.
- Navigate multiple systems and programs while maintaining engaging member interactions across multiple channels.
- Develop banking product knowledge to attract new members and expand relationships with current members through product acquisition.
- Advise and educate members on available USAA digital tools and resources to improve the user experience.
- Provide outstanding member service by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and professionalism.
- Apply strong time and call management skills to assist members with banking needs.
- Embrace continuous improvement and development through coaching and collaboration with managers and team members.
What We Look for in You:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- The ability to provide outstanding customer service, communicating clearly and professionally by phone or email to process banking requests and provide information on banking products.
- The ability to prioritize and multitask while navigating multiple business applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Successful completion of a job-related assessment.
What Sets You Apart:
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.
- One year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced contact center environment.
- Six months of frequent communication (minimum 60% of the time) with customers by phone.
Compensation Range: $43,680 - $44,680
