What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer Intern, Automation position at Usage AI?
The successful candidate will create all necessary testing and automation frameworks for our product.

- Must be in office 5 days / week.
- Must be able to come onsite for final interview.
Responsibilities
- This is a data analytics
- Write automation tests for data quality to validate data accuracy and consistency.
- Write automation tests for APIs and Front end applications.
- Troubleshoot and triaging of issues to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Identify defects and verify fixes within each sprint.
- Research and staying up to date on the latest tools, technologies, trends, and approaches within the QE space and incorporating the ones that make sense.
- This is a internship, in-person position requiring minimum of 40 hrs a week at one of our office locations.
Qualifications
Preferred
- BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study
- Must have knowledge of any one of the following cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Must be able to write integration tests using Java, Python and Javascript.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.
- Knowledge of data quality testing and ETL testing
- Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus
