Job Description:

Currently, we’re seeking an experience warehouse manager to oversee and assist our General Manager with operations - with a particular focus on personnel management, staffing, training, and ensuring production timelines and quality control thresholds are met on a daily basis.
This skilled multi-tasker will be an instrumental part USAMM's upper-level management group overseeing a diverse group of 110 to 130 individuals - depending on the season - in a fast-paced, positive, efficient production and order-fullfillment atmosphere in our temporary Killeen production facility. In April 2025, USAMM is moving down the street to a brand new 28,000 square foot national headquarters, currently under construction. Assisting in the coordination of that move will be an integral part of this individual's short term tasking objectives.

Position Objectives:
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by optimizing staffing to our product handling and storage requirements;
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long term performance goals;
- Oversee daily operations while managing staffing needs;
- Assessing staffing issues and preemptively ensuring a competitive, efficient operation by developing USAMM personnel and growing our team to our unique needs;
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, floor productivity, and shipping;
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime;
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse and/or production role managing, hourly employees and department managers;
- In lieu of the various "required"warehouse management experience in a warehouse qualifications, military veterans with excellent leadership skills and experience in command positions as either an NCO or officer will be highly valued and encouraged to apply;
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies;
- Aggressive problem-solving skills and leadership qualities;
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff;
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal;
- High energy;
- Can do individual that makes things happen and never accepts "no" as an answer;
- High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum educational requirement.
