About This Role
The PublicSector Account Manager serves as a business expert for all thingsgovernment sales, developing new prospects and interacting with anexisting portfolio of clients to increase sales of UScellular’sproducts, services and solutions to government agencies.Responsible for provoking, uncovering, cultivating and closingsales of sophisticated solutions designed forclients.
- Proactively build andmanage a sales funnel of opportunities that enables consistentsales growth and quota achievement.
- Generatenew business development with existing agencies and prospect fornew opportunities with government agencies.
- Develop client growth and retention plans, securing newbusiness and building additional revenue streams through a customerfocused approach to account review & management.
- Participate in strategic networking, relationshipbuilding, and influencing to identify and grow client base as wellas local brand awareness.
- Identify, qualify,and pursue strategic business opportunities with governmentagencies through customer relationships, effective proposaldevelopment, bid strategies, and product & solutionexpertise.
- Deliver competitive knowledge andsolution industry expertise to close government salesopportunities.
- Identify and act on competitivesolicitations and RFPs, RFQs, RFIs.
- Identifyand qualify opportunities to add value within the government spaceand strategically engage internal and external support partners toposition solutions, close sales, and deliver an excellent customerexperience.
- Handle the contractlifecycle, resolve contract questions and concerns, and managebasic and sophisticated capabilities questions.
