About the role

We are seeking a motivated and talented RAN Engineer Intern to join our Product Development and Architecture team within the US Technology group. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Radio Access Networks and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Based in our modern New York City office and labs, you will be immersed in every aspect of our technological environment.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the US Technology Product Development team, you’ll mainly be involved with:
- Assisting in the design, implementation, and optimization of RAN solutions.
- Conducting performance analysis and troubleshooting of RAN systems.
- Supporting the integration and testing of new RAN technologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations.
- Participating in the development of technical documentation and reports.
- Contributing to network architecture and product design initiatives.
- Assisting in the development and execution of Proof of Concepts (POC) for new technologies.
- Performing lab testing to validate RAN solutions and technologies.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in RAN technology.
- Assisting with maintaining the lab, it’s organization, network and RF cabling, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What you’ll bring
Think you could make a difference here? We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about the welfare of our team. You’ll want to make an impact from day one. You will also have the following:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- 2nd year undergraduate or above with a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Basic understanding of wireless communication principles and RAN architecture.
- Familiarity with network protocols and standards (e.g., LTE, 5G).
- Basic IP networking knowledge a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in teams.
