We are currently seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of our warehouses and offices.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using industrial equipment;
- Dusting and washing walls, ceilings, and light fixtures;
- Cleaning windows and blinds;
- Moving furniture, boxes, and equipment to clean areas;
- Removing stains from surfaces using cleaning solutions;
- Emptying trash cans and recycling bins;
- Cleaning kitchen, break room, office, bathroom, and locker areas.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A high school degree or equivalent;
- Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required;
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 70 pounds occasionally with assistance;
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
- Able to follow safety procedures and protocols.
