USEMCO is seeking a motivated individual to fill our CNC Machine Operator position in the WEM Department. Little to no experience needed. There is potential for this position to be trained as a CNC Machinist based on the candidate. The WEM Department specializes in custom fabrication and machining for various customers. Employees are exposed to difficult projects everyday and work together to complete the task with confidence. WEM Department has a fast-paced manufacturing atmosphere where orders can come in the morning and could typically be delivered the same day.

Position: CNC Machine Operator
1st Shift/Full-Time: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Monday - Friday; Flexible when employees need time off.
Competitive Starting Pay: $21.18 - $23.30/hr. to start, BOE.
Working Conditions: Indoors, No travel

JOB DUTIES
- Operate a wide variety of equipment such as hand tools, precision measuring instruments, saws, grinders, drills, mills and manual and CNC lathes etc. Assemble component parts consistent with product blueprints.
- Work from assembly drawings, specifications, bills of material, and material specifications.
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments to set up, fit and check work. Employ shop mathematics to perform related calculations.
- Remove finished products from machines, using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment.
- Perform re-work duties as assigned.
- File, debur, sand, grind, or polish metal objects.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent desired. Minimum experience: 2 to 4 years in a manufacturing environment preferred. 1 to 2 years related experience in CNC machine operation procedures preferred but will train.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Read and comprehend simple instructions and written materials relating to fabrication set up and operation and safety procedures.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide and use shop mathematics to set up and perform fabrication and machining work.
- Apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Possess considerable mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints.
- Operate a wide variety of equipment such as hand tools, precision measuring instruments, saws, grinders, drills, mills and CNC lathes.
