As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Estimator/Sales Engineer to join our team and contribute to our success.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering team as an Estimator/Sales Engineer focusing on lift station and water booster estimations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of pumps, valves, along with experience in electrical control systems.
Requirements
The candidate should have a working knowledge or experience in,
- Pipe and valve applications
- Pumps used in the water/sewage/solids handling market (Preferred)
- Basic electrical controls knowledge (Preferred)
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Communicate with representatives for specification clarifications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Prepare bids and proposals and obtain related specifications. Prepare price quotations, which reflect relevant items such as accurate description of the unit, sales terms, product delivery dates, and service obligations. Write orders, obtaining all relevant information and ensure entering order details into the computer system.
- Communicate to the Engineering Department, either verbally or in writing, all relevant information required to prepare submittals to ensure that the actual product sold is consistent with the sale in question.
- Promote and maintain a superior level of good working relations, directly and indirectly with agents, engineers, vendors, and end customers. Communicating persuasively in a professional manner.
- Requires an application knowledge of pumps, valves, and electrical control systems utilizing soft starters, variable frequency drives, and motor control centers to operate pumps and valves to maintain flow and pressure
